31068 Patek Philippe 3418 Calatrava, 6-pieces stainless steel case with screwdown back, the "convertible" stainless steel case is extremly sharp and undoubtedly unpolished, it's modular design allows for the lugs to be removed thus giving a choice between a leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet, this watch includes what appears to be the original alligator strap with a stainless steel Patek tang buckle; and the original stainless steel mesh bracelet, manual wind Patek Philippe caliber 12-400, original silver dial with sunburst finish is in excellent original condition, acrylic crystal, size: 34mm, thickness: 9.3mm. Excellent Condition with Patek Philippe box and Patek Philippe archive certificate dated May of 1959.

This is a vintage c. 1957 stainless steel Patek Philippe Calatrava 3418. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a domed acrylic crystal. There is a solid screw-down case back, inside of which is jeweled with a serial and reference number, and it's stamped with "PATEK PHILIPPE & CO – GENEVE – SWISS." THE 34mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, and flat angled bezel are polished. The original dial is silver with a sunburst pattern, with applied steel baton hour markers and dot indices around a perimeter minute track. It has polished steel baton hands, and there is a subsidiary running seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position. The 9.3mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Patek Philippe Calatrava 3418 has a mechanical manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 12-400 movement. It's stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, and the Patek Philippe hallmarks. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and a micrometer regulator.
