This is an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe Calatrava, 5196J-00J. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18K yellow gold tang buckle, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a solid snap-on case back, and the crown is yellow gold with the Calatrava logo. The 37mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. It has a two-shaded silvered dial with yellow gold applied Breguet Arabic numerals, and yellow gold Dauphine hands. There is an outer dot minute track, and a subsidiary constant seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 25 meters/80 feet, and it has a 44-hour power reserve. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 215 movement is stamped with the Patek Philippe quality seal. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it has a shock absorber mechanism. It's constructed with 18 jewels, 130 components, a straight-line lever escapement, and a Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating free-sprung Spiromax balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
