This is an 18K rose gold IWC Portuguese 7 Day IW500113. It has an alligator leather strap with a matching 18K rose gold deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides. It has a screw down winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back. The 42.3mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and angled concave bezel, are polished. The dial is silver with applied rose gold Arabic numeral hour markers around a perimeter railroad-style white minute scale with gold square indices. It has gold leaf hands, and there is a date aperture window at the 6 o'clock position. There are twin recessed silver subsidiary dials, with black markers, Arabic numerals, and gold indicators, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 7-day power reserve dial at 3 o'clock with 1-day red warning sector. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This IWC Portuguese 7 Day IW500113 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 5000 movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 44 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a Pellaton winding system, a Glucydur®* beryllium alloy balance with high-precision adjustment cam on balance arms, and a self-compensating Breguet balance spring. There is a skeletonized bi-directional rotor with an 18K gold medallion inlay engraved "IWC-Probus Scafusia," (Fine Schaffhausen). The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).

The IWC Portuguese 7 Day IW500113 is an updated version of the first IWC Portuguese watches of the 1930's, with the railway track chapter ring, Arabic numerals, and leaf hands. It was introduced in 2004.
