This is a vintage 1968 stainless steel Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon 145.022-68 ST. It has a solid screw-down case back engraved with the Pre-Moon Speedmaster logo. It has round chronograph pushbuttons and the original winding crown protected by a crown guard. There is a black tachymeter to 500 UPH on the bezel. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, integral lugs, and bracelet are polished/brushed. The original dial is black with the original hands and creamy hour marker indices. There is an outer 1/5 seconds track, and a white central chronograph hand. There is a constant seconds subsidiary dial at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour sub dial at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute sub dial at the 3 o'clock position. It's was rated water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 14mm thick case, movement, and dial are all signed.

This Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon 145.022-68 ST has a mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 861 movement that's copper-finished, with a shock absorber mechanism. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an index regulator.
