This is a platinum A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Moon phase 109.025. It has a black leather strap with a platinum tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a screwed down exhibition sapphire crystal case back secured by 6 screws. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, rounded bezel, and curved lugs are polished. The dial is rhodium-plated solid silver with an off-center time dial with applied Roman numeral hour markers at the quarter hours, and luminous alpha hands. There is a patented double window large date at the 2 o'clock position, with a quick date-correction button located on the case edge at 10 o'clock. The subsidiary moon phase dial with integral constant seconds indicator is at 5 o'clock, and a 72-hour power reserve sector is positioned between 2 and 4 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

It's constructed with 54 jewels, including 9 in screw-mounted gold chatons, twin spring barrels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. It has a swan neck micrometer regulator, and a hand engraved balance bridge. The mechanism oscillates at 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
