More about IWC IW391019 Portofino Chronograph Limited Edition Blue Dial SS

This is a stainless steel IWC Portofino Chronograph Laureus Sport for Good Foundation IW391019. The 41mm diameter three-body, polished and brushed case has angled lugs and a rounded bezel. Seven screws secure the case back, and it has a screw-down crown with a sapphire crystal that has anti-reflective coatings on both sides. The black alligator strap has a matching stainless steel tang buckle. The dial is blue with applied silver baton index hour markers, an outer track with minutes/seconds, and steel feuille hands. There are subsidiary guilloche dials at 12 and 6 o'clock with 30-minute and 12-hour registers, and a day and date apertures at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters and it has a 44-hour power reserve. The chronograph has a stopwatch function with hours, minutes, and seconds, with round plunger push buttons. The 13.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This IWC Portofino Chronograph Laureus Sport for Good Foundation IW391019 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 75320 movement that's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking mechanism. The monometallic balance is adjusted for heat, cold, and 5 positions. This sporty Portofino has round, "pushrod" shaped chronograph buttons that are reminiscent of the cockpit of 1960's Italian sports car.
